Danyl Magick
Danyl was in the corporate and real estate investment world for 20 years before a transformative healing experience with psychedelics changed his life forever. For the first time, Danyl realized that life is a game and he had the power to make the rules. That awakening was pretty extreme: he sold his house, ended his relationship, quit his job and spent a year exploring fringe communities and perception-altering experiences around the world. When he returned from his travels, he attended  psychedelic dream mastermind workshop where he discovered his soul’s dream: to build a bathhouse in Austin, Texas. From that point forward, Danyl has been relentless in making this dream a reality. By following the universe’s breadcrumbs and collaborating with the amazingly supportive local community, he is bringing Bathe Austin to life.

In 2023, Danyl and his partner, Lisa, quickly gathered a team who shared their vision. The Magicks’ modern bathhouse, set to open in summer 2025, is poised to redefine the wellness experience. Bathe Austin will offer an elevated, “anti-spa” refuge, featuring a curated selection of top sauna and wellness brands. Guests will be enveloped in an immersive soundscape with intentional lighting design, creating a space that transcends the ordinary. Danyl is a living representation of following your dream to the extreme. This project reflects his commitment to creating a space that uplifts and transforms, proving that when vision and heart come together, they can create something truly extraordinary.

Lisa Magick
In her former life, Lisa Magick was an attorney. She is a UT Law graduate who left her legal career after a family tragedy propelled her to embark on a multi-year solo vanlife journey around the world. Through her instagram @lisamagick, she candidly shares her experience with grief, personal growth, and psychedelics, gaining features with CNN, Rolling Stone, and HGTV. She hosted and produced the travel series "My Van Life" and is currently developing a second series, "Southern Soaks."
 
Lisa is a real estate investor and award-winning interior designer. Her projects have been featured in commercials for Verizon and Tito's Handmade Vodka. Lisa has been birthing Bathe from the beginning: manifesting the building, naming the business, and bringing this community vision to life. As co-founder of Bathe Austin, Lisa uses her diverse background to execute the vision with creativity and scale
